Cupid heart
NFS. Hand painted on a wood heart that I cut out with my scroll saw. (I tend to get power tools for Christmas instead of jewelry!) I hang this one up in January every year to remind me that spring is "just around the corner!" Entered in 2006 Ohio State fair holiday character category but didn't place.
Folk Art Pumpkin
SOLD. This is the first faux pumpkin I painted. Lots of detail! 4 competitions with this piece before it sold! 3rd place pumpkin decorating contest at work 2006--1st place 2007 Ohio State Fair arts & crafts competition folk art catagory--2nd place Grove City's Arts in the Alley 2007--and finally 1st place at Michaels pumpkin decorating contest 2008.
JAZZ scrapbook page
NFS. This is one of the first scrapbook pages I ever made. JAZZ theme from Billy's college days. I drew and painted the music characters. I find it challenging to make decisions about where to place pictures and accents on a scrapbook page. I'll play with it for days before finally gluing something down! Won 3rd place in Grove City's Arts in the Alley in 2006.
3 hand painted baskets
SOLD. SOLD. SOLD. 3 more baskets. It's easy to enlarge or shrink line drawings to fit various sizes and shapes.
